Construction

  • 0.104 In. stainless steel Type 304.
  • Seams continuously welded and ground smooth.
  • Flange trough collar around all sides of door openings.
  • Body stiffeners in large enclosures for extra rigidity.
  • Heavy duty lifting eyes anchor into reinforced top.
  • Removable center post to permit easy sub-panel installation.
  • Stainless steel concealed hinges.
  • Black zinc die cast coinproof/padlocking handle on main door with black zinc die cast padlocking handle on other.
  • 3-point latching mechanism.
  • Black quarter turn latches as required.
  • Panel supports.
  • Large removable print pockets.
  • Pour in place oil & water resistant gasket
  • Removable subpanels mount on collar studs.
  • Master door on this part is far right-hand door for subsequent enclosures.
  • Defeater on master door requires a screwdriver to open.
  • Mechanical interlock activated by master door prevents slave doors from being opened first. Door can be closed in any order.
  • Ground stud on door.
  • Provisions for light kit.

Application

SCE-90XMR2D18SS Saginaw Control & Engineering 90 x 78.75 x 18 S.S. 2DR Right XM Enclosure

This enclosure is designed to be the right most enclosure in a large multi-door enclosure.

Designed to house electrical equipment and provide protection from dirt, dust, oil and water and to house most standard type disconnects. For outdoor application a drip shield and drain vent is recommended.

#4 brushed finish on all exterior surfaces. Sub-panels are powder coated white.
