MPW motor protective circuit breakers are a compact solution for starting and protecting electric motors up to 100 A. They feature high interrupting capacity, allowing their use even in installations with high short-circuit current levels. They ensure full protection of the electrical circuit and the motor through their thermal release (adjustable for overload protection and equipped with a differential mechanism sensitive to phase loss) and magnetic release (calibrated for short-circuit protection).
They are available in push-button operated versions (MPW12/18) or rotary-operated versions (MPW40/80/100), and include trip indication (Trip) — only for the rotary handle — allowing the operator to view the breaker status. The breakers can be padlocked in the OFF position, thus ensuring safety during maintenance.
